Quality varies, for many reasons.  Although we would like to think that every health plan, doctor, hospital, and other provider gives high-quality care, this is not always so. Americans are beginning to understand that the quality of their health care is often compromised by medical errors; disparities by race, income, and insurance status; the absence of evidence-based standards; and the lack of personal attention and continuity in care.

MN Nurses Strike

On Thursday, June 10, 12,000 Minnesota nurses went on strike. The 14 Twin Cities hospitals affected by the strike said Tuesday they are ready to stay open and provide quality care. What should patients know if they need medical care?
